It is possible that an odor or some smoke emanates from your vehicle during the first few hours. Do not worry, there is probably some paraffin on your exhaust pipe.

Antirust will flow from my vehicle for several days.
Realities
NOT HERE, Champlain rustproof treatment contain paraffin. This technique has the advantage of not leaking. However, as a precaution we suggest you wait an hour before parking your vehicle in your driveway.

Realities

I don’t have to service my vehicle each year.
Realities
Our product does not lose its effectiveness over time. On the other hand, the abrasion caused by sand and salt on our roads removes the coating on certain parts of the vehicle. So in order to maintain optimal protection and to honor your guarantee you must do your treatment annually.

I can’t clean my vehicle right after a treatment.

You can clean your vehicle. However, we suggest that you avoid pressure jets within 48 hours of treatment.

Water, moisture and rain affect the effectiveness of the treatment.

Our rustproof treatment is supplemented with a moisture repellent that has the property of repelling water surfaces such as the DW40. In addition, following the treatment, only abrasion caused by salt and sand will affect the treatment. Champlain Rustproofing is water and rain resistant.
